Detail HANNA HI93714 Cyanide Photometer
Cyanide is a pollutant that originates mostly from metallurgical and galvanic industrial plants.
Cyanide is extremely poisonous to the human nervous system, and it is therefore imperative to
monitor and control its level in potable water.
Continuous monitoring in waste effluents is required, and cyanide is removed using alkaline
chlorination procedures.
Due to this, European norms limit the concentration of cyanide in drinking water to 0.05 mg/ L, while
the EPA has established that the maximum
level is not to exceed 0.2 mg/ L.
HANNA® ' HI 93714 is the first electronic instrument of its kind to determine cyanide concentrations
in water.
The ideal replacement to test kits, HI 93714 will provide you with fast and accurate measurements at
the touch of a button.
