In response to customer feedback indicating that the single-point laser marker used by the previous product made it difficult to identify the measurement range, HIOKI has incorporated a two-point laser marker into the FT3700-20 and FT3701-20 to provide users a clear indication of the measurement range. A display backlight further boosts convenience by improving visibility in the dark locations where temperature measurements are often made. At a distance of 1 m, the FT3700-20 measures the average temperature inside a circle with a diameter of 83 mm. At a distance of 1 m, the FT3701-20 measures the average temperature inside a circle with a diameter of 52 mm.
